CompTIA Linux+, Powered by LPI Certification Now Available

Posted by Rubel Khan on May 4, 2010

In other CompTIA news, the CompTIA Linux+, Powered by LPI certification has officially launched. To earn this certification, which is intended for junior Linux administrators, candidates must pass two exams instead of the one that is required for the original Linux+. The candidate can then request to have their record forwarded to the Linux Professional Institute (LPI), which will then grant them LPIC-1 certification as well. The single exam version of Linux+ will be retired on April 30, 2010.
