Update and correction to Quick Start with Windows Live Calendar

Posted by Rubel Khan on August 6, 2009

A reviewer recently pointed to an update to a post from last week: Getting a Quick Start with Windows Live Calendar (post from Thursday, July 30).

Simply replace these steps below in Six simple ways to get the most out of Windows Live Calendar.

2. GROUP CALENDARS When you create a Group on Windows Live, it comes with a group Calendar that is accessible by all members of the group for easy events sharing and editing.  From your calendar, you’ll see your group’s calendar together with your other calendars, all in one place, making it easier for you to manage your life.

For Step 4, you could also use the updated steps below to add any additional information for your guests.

4. INVITATIONS Click New -> Event -> Add more details and fill out everything your guests will want to know. Select Invite people and enter their contact information. Then click Save to send the invitation.

Updates will be made in upcoming printings of the print book.
