Microsoft is proud to recognize the winners and finalists in the 2009 WPC Awards Program. These partners have developed exemplary solutions for their customers during the past year, and demonstrated the ability to optimize their use of Microsoft technologies to meet critical business needs.

This year, 69 awards and nearly 2,000 excellent entries made selecting a winner and two finalists for each award a difficult task. Thanks to all of our partners who entered, and if your entry was not selected, we look forward to another high-quality entry next year.

  • Learning Solutions, Impact Partner of the Year

QA, United Kingdom

QA worked with Dell to create an effective training solution for trainees, as well as the whole organization. The solution included assessments, beta Official Microsoft Learning Products, customized content specific to Dell, and certification workshops for Windows Server 2008 Microsoft Certified IT Professionals (MCITPs). The solution met the customer’s objective—creating a leading-edge senior team of subject matter experts (SMEs) who have the skills to enable Dell to be first to market in developing and building customer solutions on Windows Server 2008. It has also created opportunities for QA to deliver more training and certification solutions within Dell on System Center, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and Windows 7.

Netcampus, South Africa

Netcampus moved from a traditional instructor-led training (ILT) model to a collaborative learning solutions model using tools such as Web Portal, Mentors LiveChat, and Virtual Labs. With the new model, Netcampus created a learning collaboration ecosystem, where students support each other across geographical boundaries. To attract prospects, Netcampus has done effective and innovative marketing using tools such as Netfiliate, which builds a referral network, and NetCafé, which leverages Internet cafés to provide online communities for students. With the new model, Netcampus is able to offer the equivalent ILT at a 50 percent reduction in price and has seen a 400 percent increase in new customers in the first year, along with a 70 percent increase in net profit.
